Who Is Katrina?

The oldest of three daughters, Katrina Spigner grew up in Hopkins, South Carolina where she graduated from Lower Richland High School. After working as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, Katrina earned a certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education through the Pastoral Education Department at Palmetto Baptist Hospital. In 2001, Katrina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, followed by a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia College and the University of South Carolina, respectively.

Today, Katrina is a much sought-after author, speaker, and life coach; she coaches women seeking a purposeful path towards living a more fulfilling life. Her monthly e-Newsletter, "The Journey" informs and encourages subscribers both nationally and internationally. Katrina has written articles for magazines and spoken at events for churches, academic institutions, and organizations across the country.

A teacher at heart, Katrina serves as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina and Columbia College. Her teaching gift is also used to minister to women at Family Worship Center where she serves as an instructor in the Christian Education Department. Katrina is the founder and CEO of Re-Source Solutions, a company dedicated to supporting others in realizing the visions, goals, and desires God has for their unique life, while helping them to develop strategies to achieve them.

Katrina is a member Family Worship Center Church of God in Christ and is the Senior Program Officer at Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina. She is the author of two books: Sit with Me: a Guide to Visitation Methods (Cornerstone), and This Is for You! 31 Days of Life-Changing Discoveries (2008, Pleasant Word).

Katrina’s life’s purpose is to inspire others to discover their God-given gifts & treasures on their journey to living on purpose! In living a life of seeking God continuously for the direction for every phase and stage of her time here on Earth, Katrina is convinced that everything that God has brought her to has been purpose-driven. She knows that before the foundation of the world, He had a plan in mind for her existence. She believes that everything she has experienced has moved her closer to her destiny. She knows that God has orchestrated her past, positioned her present and prepared her for her future. And she is enjoying the ride.

Katrina is the proud mother of two beautiful children who provide continuous strength and motivation for her journey. She enjoys writing, shopping, laughing and spending time with her family and friends. Katrina and her family make their home in Columbia, South Carolina.
